Okami Wars Prologue
"Nice going, Manpuku," Kagu fumed "Now we're all trapped!"
That was the harsh reality of the current situation of Chibiterasu and his partners.
After yet another madcap adventure involving a kidnapper, a bag of fake vomit, and a
wayward fortuneteller, Manpuku (the big oaf) had managed to get himself and his
friends in quite a pickle. All five of them were trapped inside of a cave, the exit
completely sealed by a large pile of rubble and dirt. Had it not been for Manpuku's fire
hair, however, our heroes would have been shrouded in absolute darkness.

"Yeah, it's Kagu the Monster Girl! Run for it!"

Every night before she went to bed, Kagu wished on the stars so bright that her powers would disappear. Reason being: children her age teased her in Sei'an City for her powers, and she eventually grew to resent them.

But as much as she may and as much as she might, her wish to be a girl without Miko powers will not be granted tonight.

This was her one hundredth wish and Kagu had pretty much given up hope. True, she had the opportunity to become a Miko due to Miko Cho's offering, but her parents wanted her to be an actress. Either way, she was different.

Amaterasu stared intensely at the Celestial Plain. The Ark of Yamato was still a few hundred feet away from the edge of the Plain, but she could easily see the monsters that still roamed across it.
